Carmelita Performs For The Stars Carmelita Pittman, known for her strong, yet gutsy vocal sty-lings, is performing “In a Cabaret Mood” on Sunday-June 26TH at The Gate in Encino, California.

Pittman, is known as Ms. C. “Rap-pin” Pittman for the song, “School of Cool,” “Isn’t It Lonely” and “Rosebud,” all which were on the Top 40 charts.

Carmelita has performed for and with such celebrities as Carol Connors, two time Oscar nominated songwriter known for co-writing the hit “Gonna Fly Now,” the theme song for the movie Rocky and “To Know Him Is To Love Him,” Margaret O’Brien, Oscar and 4 time Hollywood Walk of Fame recipient, and award winning actress, Merrie Lynn Ross from General Hospital.

She will perform Carol Connors latest composition, “Only the Music Only My Song.” Ms Pittman is the founder of The Rose Breast Cancer Society., which was founded in 1998 in memory of her artistic mother, Jianitn Lana Espinosa; R.B. C.S. helps people of all walks of life through the arts and music. Curtis Smooth, well known blues artist will also appear on the musical revue with other artist as well.

The event is produced by A and E Productions.
