Award-Winning Jewish Content Made Available for Streaming and DVD Ownership

Film Movement today launches the first-ever North American Jewish Film-of-the-Month Club, the company announced. The Jewish Film Club is a subscription-based service, which provides members in the U.S. and Canada access to an award-winning Jewish-themed feature film and bonus short film every other month before released to the general public. The films are made available to own on DVD and to view via online streaming.

The Jewish Film Club’s staff travels to the world’s premiere film festivals, identifying the finest in contemporary Jewish-themed cinema. These exemplary films-hailing from Israel to Europe to the Americas and beyond-illuminate Jewish themes of history, identity, and culture.

The films selected are intended for both affiliated and unaffiliated Jews, as well as people of other faiths and cultures. The multi-award winning *The Human Resources Manager* will be the Jewish Film Club’s first film. It was Israel’s Foreign Language Oscar Submission in 2011 as well as winner of five (5) Israeli Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Screenplay.

“The Jewish Film Club was conceived because after a decade in search of the very best in independent and foreign film, we found that so many great Jewish films are produced every year and unfortunately only a handful ever get the recognition and viewership they so rightfully deserve,” said Adley Gartenstein, president of Film Movement. “We feel strongly that these films need a home – our home and your home – so that the wonder, richness, and diversity of the Jewish culture, as expressed through film, can be appreciated by the widest audiences possible.”

The Jewish Film Club is a subscription-based service. Members receive access to an award-winning Jewish-themed feature film and bonus short film every other month while it is still in movie theaters and before it is released to the general public. The films are made available to own on DVD and via online streaming. Easy as 1.2.3. 1) Subscribe or give a gift subscription; 2) A new film on DVD is mailed, and that same film is made available for streaming; 3) Sit back and enjoy each film. They are yours to keep. There’s nothing to return! The cost of an annual/12 month subscription is $108.00 (with free shipping), six (6) months is $68.00 (plus $3.25 shipping per DVD) and monthly subscriptions are $28.00 bi-monthly (plus $3.25 shipping per DVD).
