Ashton Kutcher Gets ‘Punk’d’ Again By MTV

Ashton Kutcher’s television comeback continues, as MTV announced Monday the return of Punk’d, which lasted eight seasons from 2003 to 2007.

As co-creator, co-executive producer and host, Kutcher and his crew planned practical jokes on unsuspecting celebrities like his That 70s Show co-star Wilmer Valderrama, Jessica Biel, and Justin Timberlake, whose prank was ranked third in Time‘s list of “32 Epic Moments in Reality-TV History”.

It’s unknown whether Ashton will return as host, but it has been confirmed that he and co-creator Jason Goldberg will stay on as producers. Punk’d returns with new episodes sometime in 2012, but devoted fans will get a sneak peek of the new season during MTV’s annual New Year Eve party on Saturday, December 31 at 11p.
