Science classifies man as an animal but not this writer … Man is the only living creature on earth that has, what is called, agency. Man has the right to chose good or evil and walk on the path of time through life and into what lies ahead.
This word agency is what sets mankind apart from the animal and other creatures that live on this planet. It defines the human as the dominant creation. What causes a human to have such a marvelous gift? We are indeed blessed above and beyond the animal kingdom compared to what Darwin called, our relatives, who also share their existence with us on this planet.
The human race is not an animal nor can it be compared to animals. Animals can be compared to humans but to indicate humans come from animals is a very large insult not only to the human race but to the God who created them. The large question then is what came first the human or the animal species.
Did the creator of life use the animal as his blue*print or the human pattern to develop animals? It makes a person stop and think. Science cannot answer this important question so they developed the theory man came from animals and God had nothing to do with the whole process.
Most Christians accept the Book of Genesis as the word of God. I’m sure it explains much to our intellect as humans but does it tell us the whole truth? It is agreed with most Christians who know the works contained in the Bible that Moses is the author of the first five books in the Old Testament of the Bible.
The Book of Enoch was written by the Prophet Enoch and contains much of his life and of the events of early religious history.
The Book of Enoch was ignored by those who selected the books of the bible, (noncanonical) but some of his writings are found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. Dr. Jellinek discovered the Book of Enoch and introduced this Book in 1873 into Hebrew history…
It was part of their Hebrew religious writings and knowledge. Enoch was the Great Grandfather of Noah and he (Enoch) was a descendant of Adam.
His writings are known as the Apocalyptic of Enoch and prophesyed the Flood that would destroy most of the life on earth. His name is mentioned in the Old and New Testaments many times. He was indeed a great man who never suffered death.
Written history of religion tells us that writings existed before Noah.
Adam too must have written words but not many believe that writing existed back then. The records of genealogy go back to Adam and we also know Adam wrote his history and dealing with God. Where did Moses gain knowledge of the creation and the lives of those who lived before him? He too had access to the records of the Prophets of God.
Did Moses write in the same language as those prophets? If he didn’t know their language then how could he translate their writings he had from history into the book of Genesis?
Enoch was the great secretary who bridged the early history together and added his and other writings into the scrolls Moses used to give us the Book of Genesis, which is but a short version of Enoch’s writings. From Noah to Moses are the remaining books that Moses entered into the Book of Genesis. These books were written by those who lived it and wrote about it.
A special device called the Urim and Thummim were used by the prophets to understand the working of God. It had more than one use and with these devices and the breast plate they could interpret languages not known to them. The Dead Sea Scrolls give reference to the Book of Adam and give little other than the fact it did exist.
The Ethiopian version of the Book of Adam and Eve was translated into German and later into Latin and then into English. There is also The Book of the Daughters of Adam mentioned By Pope Gelasius in 495-496 A.D. He identifies or relates these books to the Book of Jubilees or the Little Genesis.
The more we find about religion the more we begin to understand the secrets our Universal Church has tried to keep silent. Adam and his family were a large family. He lived for over 900 years. Cain and Able were not his only children and Enoch tells us more about him, Adam than any Old Testament writings we accept as God’s Book to man.
Maybe it is time for our Christian religions to expose the cover up and relate the truth to the majority of the Christian people in the world. How many writings are housed in the Vatican archives? How and why do they remain silent? Maybe they do not trust man’s agency, his right to chose good or evil and his intelligence to know the difference.
