Police Force Organises Free Medical Camp in Kashmir Sopore Town

As a part of its people friendly initiative, the Central Reserve police force Bn 179 organises a medical cum awarness camp in north Kashmir Sopore town on Thursday.

The medical awarness camp was held under the aegis of S S Sindu IGP (ops)Kashmir. The Free Medical Camp was organized at Govt. High School, Village Adipora in Sopore. S.S. Sandhu IGP (ops) KMR, CRPF as chief guest in his inaugural address welcomed the local public and guests who attended the Camp.

“We are continuously making our best efforts to reach out the public so that people feel CRPF is not only for their security but serves their prevalent needs too,” S.S. Sandhu said.

Meanwhile under the aegis of Shri Sandhu 53BN CRPF, DPL Baramulla distributed free sports kit/gears among the local youth. This special endeavor was welcomed by all locals present and they said it is indeed a great moment for the residents of this village which have only a small primary Health Center and now in this Free Medical camp they got specialist treatment for ailments they are suffering. More than 1000 persons including ladies children and elderly persons were given treatment and medicines worth rupees one lac distributed among them. Dr. Yamin (Surgeon), Dr. Adil (Physician)

Dr. Sheikh Mustaq (Physician) Dr. Suneem Ahmad Khan (Physician), Dr. Suhail (Physician), Dr. Tabasum (Dentist) and Dr. Yasmin Hamid (Gynecologist) rendered their priceless services to folks. Haji Md. Ashraf Ganai MLA Sopore, Shoaib Nabi Lone Ex. MLA, Shri R.S. Rautela DIGP (ops) NKMR, and representatives of ivil/media/police/SFs were among the prominent dignitaries present at the camp.
