A student here will have the opportunity to get exposed to internationally trained practitioners who will be teaching what is relevant in the real world; they will also have an option of transferring to any of the overseas Raffles campuses after two years to continue their higher studies. “In India there is an acute shortage of Institutes that offer high quality, world class professional courses that prepares students for a career of their choice in today’s challenging global environment. We hope to fill that gap through setting of RMI Centres across major cities. The programs here will focus on niche, specialized areas in which required competencies are not available in India and students have to travel outside, thus incurring huge expenses” ” said Mr. Harpreet Singh, President – Higher Education , Educomp Solutions Ltd.

Mr.Mike Yam, President, India Operation, Raffles Education Corp, Singapore, said “The new centre in India will allow us to tap into the over 657 million youth population in the country – the largest population of young people in the world. In the near future, the Group is also looking to expand its footprint in India through the establishment of more centres in India’s main cities. We believe our success in China will be replicated in India.”
