Husband Kills Wife, Son And Daughter

The fallout of a family feud left two children and their mother dead, after the head of the family used a sharp weapon to kill them. The deadly incident took place in a village of Panjuri Kro Village in east Karbi Anglong last week.

According to Dokmoka police, Naliram Kro (40) surrendered to police at 1.30 AM with a blood stained sword stating that he killed his wife, son and daughter because he suspected his wife was having an affair with another man.

Police immediately visited the place where the incident occurred and recovered the bodies of Naliram Kro’s dead family members. The wife, Mina Hansapi (35), son Ananda Kro (6) and daughter Monjuli Kropi (4) were found lying dead, bathed with blood, in different parts of the house.

The accused man, Naliram Kro, confessed his guilt, and was sent to Diphu court.

The bodies of the three deceased were sent to Diphu civil hospital for post-mortem.

The bizarre triple murder incident traumatized the villagers as they are still finding it difficult to believe what happened. Most villagers refuted the claim of the accused, Naliram Kro, that his wife had an illegitimate relationship with any other person.

Dokmoka police registered a case under various sections of CRPC.
