It is time to Go Now into the world of entertainment, so let’s get started, shall we?

  • CALIFORNIA (SoapNet): The latest polls from Soap Opera Digest and ABC Soaps In Depth shows that General Hospital‘s Jason & Elizabeth (Liason) are once again voted as “Favorite Couple”. Now, their fans will get a chance to have a signed autograph from Steve Burton & Rebecca Herbst themselves at the Soap Nation event, which is a part of the Stagecoach Music Festival. With live performances from Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney, and Reba, there will be autograph sessions with daytime fan favorites such as Bobbie Eakes (Krystal, All My Children), Jason Thompson (Patrick, GH), and Laura Wright (Carly, GH) — including an autograph session with Liason and the “Hot Ladies of Daytime”. The festival is this weekend, so if you still want tickets, get them while you can online at SoapNet.
  • CANADA (Sasha Stoltz Publicity): Though the economy is in a world of crisis, a fundraising event is in place, as singer Sean Jones and Divine Brown will be performing this Tuesday night at The Great Hall (1087 Queen St. West). Get a chance to hear Jones’ new single, “2 Wrongs”, plus his new duet with Brown. This is on behalf of Eva’s Initiatives, an organization that creates opportunities for homeless and at-risk young people ages 16-24 that has three shelters in Toronto: Eva’s place, Eva’s Satellite, and Eva’s Phoenix. Jones is one of the mentors, and he’s asking people to give back. For more on Sean Jones and his music, go to his MySpace page or his official website
  • Last year, women of all ages all over the world were bitten — and smitten — by a vampire named Edward.
