Yep, you might expect to find nudist-friendly locations in Florida, but there is plenty of room to get down to bare essentials even in New England.

Starting on Cape Cod, there is the Sandy Terraces Associates Family Nudist Campground, http://www.sandyterraces.com/home.html

Marstons Mills, Massachusetts, 508-428-9209, is a campground open to RVs, and also including cabin rentals. This is intended for couples but singles are admitted on a limited basis.

Marstons Mills is an interesting place to go, other than for the fresh air. It is a village in the town of Barnstable, settled by Roger Goodspeed before 1653. Marstons Mills got its name from Benjamin Marston who developed the fulling mill and weaving operations along the Marstons Mills River. Goodspeed’s granddaughter Lydia married Benjamin Marston.

Looking for a bit more room to roam? Solair Recreation League http://www.solairrl.com/ is in a very rural setting located at 65 Ide Perrin Road, Woodstock, Connecticut, 860-928-9174, occupies hundreds of acres – pets welcome.

Woodstock has an interesting history, too. It was the largest of three Connecticut praying towns in the north east. At that time, it was called Wabaquasset. Those “praying towns” were established by the Puritan missionary, John Eliot. His aim was to being Christianity to the native indians.
