Emailgate Criminal Investigation Accelerates With 147 FBI Agents

It appears to those who are not paying attention, that Hillary Clinton’s FBI ’emailgate’ criminal investigation has blown over. That isn’t actually the case, though. It is only quiet because the left-leaning media doesn’t want it to be a topic of interest. A new report was released on Saturday that Clinton supporters will not like at all.

147 FBI Agents on The Case

The report says that the FBI has 147 agents working on the investigation. That abnormally high number of agents were deployed by FBI Director James Comey to run down any leads in this election period, The Washington Post reported.

According to the story in the Washington Post, FBI brass want to avoid announcing any action close to the November election. They want to have it cleared up one way or another well before that time. It is no secret that James Comey is heavily involved in making sure the investigation is done in an independent, prompt manner.

As always there are rumours flying around Washington D.C., and one says that Comey, who is highly regarded for his work, is prepared to resign if criminality is proved, and it is then ignored by Attorney General Loretta Lynch and her DOJ staff. Lynch is an Obama appointee, so ignoring the issue would be a serious problem.

When Comey spoke to lawmakers in March, he said “What I can assure you is that I am very close personally to that investigation to ensure that we have the resources we need, including people and technology, and that it’s done the way the FBI tries to do all of its work: independently, competently and promptly.”

Hillary’s followers may be ignoring the issue, but you can be sure that her campaign is not. Her future as the Democrat front-runner would be over if the DOJ receives an indictment recommendation from the FBI.

Re-Classification and Over-Classification Alleged

The Clinton campaign is pushing back on what it calls re-classification and over-classification of the former Secretary of State’s emails, many of which they say were retroactively classified. Federal investigators have been trying to check to determine whether any laws were broken in the handling of the emails. Candidate Clinton also said she did nothing wrong, and that the law allowed her to use a personal email server. She did acknowledged it was an error in judgment.

No matter what is found to be the case, the FBI’s criminal investigation is haunting the Clinton campaign’s general election efforts. Trust is a major issue for a presidential candidate.

That isn’t all that is going on. In a sign of even more bad news for the Clinton campaign, the FBI is still investigating Clinton’s private server. The Los Angeles Times says investigators are now arranging formal interviews of longtime Hillary aides. The interviews will help determine whether classified material was knowingly or negligently discussed over the non-secure email system.

Not all the information is being kept under wraps, Freedom of Information requests by Judicial Watch are uncovering information too. In February, they discovered a smoking gun.

Denials Proved False By FOI Releases

At that time, it was revealed that one of things Hillary Clinton denied, she sent email through her private clintonemail.com system in March, 2011, in which she asked Huma Abedin, also using an insecure email account not controlled by the State Department, to print two emails. As reported in that story, “Those two emails had been received from former British Prime Minister Tony Blair by Jake Sullivan, another Clinton staff member, also on his non-state.gov email account.”

So, with 147 FBI agents on the case, it should be much easier to investigate the thousands of emails and documents the FBI has, and to question the Clinton staffers in a timely manner.
