Rick White, a software engineer out in Colorado, is riding a tricycle Wednesday to raise money for Soldiers’ Angels Valour IT program. He has raised almost $11,000 to date this year, and has a little comments section on his website.

On June 25th Rick is teaming up with SA to take part in Colorado’s Bike to Work Day to raise money for the Valour-IT programme. I wrote about this programme during the annual bloggers’ fundraising effort in November 2007, to raise money to buy the voice activated laptops which make a huge difference to our wounded heroes. To read some amazing stories of the difference these Valour-IT laptops have made go here: [link http://mikegulf.blogspot.com/2007/11/giving-voice-to-our-wounded_05.html]

Rick has a website set up for this latest endeavour:

You can find his site Trikes for Troops here: [link http://trikeforthetroops.com/] Last year he raised $3,500, which he used to send care packages to the troops. With this year’s total already exceeding that, Rick will be helping Soldiers’ Angels buy more than a few laptops.

Check out Rick’s website, and even if you can’t make a donation, feel free to leave a message of support.
