There is a new and innovative way to try and key in on early diagnosis, in order to achieve the best survival rate. An Estrogen Gene Test is a simple saliva test that identifies the mutated genes that cause breast cancer. Once mutations or “snips” are identified, doctors can assign those genes “protocols” to make them healthier.

Breast Cancer Survivor Stacia Hachem explains the terrifying angst of not knowing what will happen and how long the situation will take to play out.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
