Religion Needs to Be Simple and Less Confusing

I walk along the path of life and find myself in situations where I must make a choice. This path we walk is the path we know and it opens into new passage ways that require of us our best efforts. There are many obstacles to overcome as we pass through; there are hills, valleys, waters to cross and some very difficult and sometimes dangerous situations to overcome.

On this journey through life I find others struggling because of their choices. I see families falling apart. I find men who won’t remain loyal to their wives and family. Even women who hunt love or what they think is love outside of their marriage covenant and are destroying families.

Our world is full of pornographic material on the internet and in television programming and it invades young minds and confuses struggling teens.

I just don’t know where and when this terrible infection of sexual prevision will end and good common sense will be reestablished.

Our society is polluted with rudeness, greed, anger, drugs, alcohol, adultery, lying, fraud, murders, rapes, molesters, and the list grows longer and heaver each year. Integrity, morality, honesty, chastity, modesty are just words and not part of our societies basic nature or character. .

When will we stop and do a self evaluation and examine our purpose for life?

We are born and then what? We seem to have lost our purpose for life and why we are here on this planet called earth. We are not here to develop easy ways to get drunk, or to enjoy drugs so we can escape our trials and tribulations.

We are not here to just become rich and buy whatever fits our fancy. It seems the three great questions about life have been lost. 1. Where did I come from? 2. Why am I here? 3. Where am I going after I die?

These questions can’t be answered by science or great politicians or school curriculums because it is against our nation’s political attitude.

We have lost our purpose of life because we can’t learn it unless we know about God. Our society has lost a need for truth because we the people have allowed others to tell us what life is about.

They who changed our values about life understood how important our purpose of life is and how as time passes it evens becomes more important. When a majority of people have no understanding of the basics needs of life they lose direction and become lost…

Question- 1- asks us simple but direct-where did we come from? Well science tells us we come from animals and we are kin to monkeys. Boy that makes us feel good, and what purpose do animals have in this life? Question- 2 why am I here?–states a simple question and requires a straight honest answer. Why can’t we get a direct answer from anyone?

There are so many answers to this question it boggles the mind just to listen to them. They tell us we are here for learning, money, sex, experience good and bad to become rich or poor but whatever we become we are not responsible, it’s not your fault. Question- 3- where am I going after life?-is also mixed up with ideas that again boggle the mind. We just die and that’s it. Oh if you’re good maybe God will let you into heaven but bad you can go to hell and burn forever.

How many religions are there in this world? The only answer I have is too many. How many Christian religions are there? Again I think we have too many.

Religion needs to be simple and less confusing. Christian religions are founded in this nation almost every day and the number varies so much it is impossible to keep count.

How can a nation return to their core values without guidance from religious leaders who work together rather than bickering over which one has the truth and the ability to know God better than the other religions.

Do the Protestants, the Baptists, Lutheran, and Methodists, agree with Catholics or with the Seven Day Adventists and do any of them get along with one another or even get along with the Mormons? Each care for their own and want to make life better I’m sure but when will they quit putting each other down? Who do you think would be a better President now, Obama or Romney?

If Romney why did the Baptists and other protestants tell their people not to vote for a Mormon? Look what we got with Obama. Well how can this nation ever heal the wounds of Sin without sticking together as Christians and putting the right person in as President, or senator, or congress person, so they can restore the core of goodness into our society again?

There has to be direct answers to these questions and if we can’t find the answers we are doomed because this is why we are failing life as a nation. We just can’t get along as Americans. We are still a free people and must make right choices before it is too late.

If you don’t have the answer to these simple questions maybe you need to find the answers yourself.

Make this choice it is the “Key to Unity;” I will not condemn anyone’s religion but vote for the man or woman who is the Right choice for all or any Christian religions and not my religions choice. God Bless America and help us find our way back to His purposes.
