What is Sudoku

Sudoku is a number-placement puzzle that requres logic to solve.

81 boxes are placed in a 9 x 9 grid. Some are empty and some contain digits. To solve the puzzle, each column, each row, and each of the nine 3x4 boxes in the main grid must contain all of the numbers from 1 to 9, only once each.
