Deaths of Israeli Teens Naftali Frankel, Eyal Yifrach, and Gilad Shaar

By

The news of the murder of three missing Israeli teenagers - Naftali Fraenkel, Gilad Shaar, and Eyal Yifrach devastated their families and friends. Their bodies were found under a pile of rocks in a remote field north of Hebron.

There had been great hope that they would be found and recovered. It should not have ended this way.

Naftali Fraenkel was also an American citizen making this terrible news a blow not only to Israel, but to the United States as well.

The killing of these three innocent teenagers is a despicable terrorist act. The cowards who did this must be brought to justice.

Secretary of State, John Kerry, said "We condemn this despicable terrorist act in the strongest possible terms. The killing of innocent youths is an outrage beyond any understanding or rationale, and the perpetrators must be brought to justice. This is a time for all to work towards that goal without destabilizing the situation."

President Mahmous Abbas' Palestinian Fatah movement previously celebrated the kidnapping of the three teens on its official Facebook page. When the boys were found dead, the Fatah facebook mocked the mourning Israelis and calls the boys "Soldiers."

"Israelis crying over the three killed soldiers, whose bodies, according to Israeli claims, were found this evening in Hebron, 19 days after they disappeared." - Fatah facebook page, translated from arabic.

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu blamed the kidnapping and killings on Hamas. He said "Hamas is responsible and Hamas will pay."

More than 20 rockets were fired from the the Gaza Strip into Israel since late Sunday, after which Israel's military struck 34 targets.
