It is just a year since Mr. Souleiman Hassan Waberi became the president of Djibouti Football Federation. During the one-year period, President Waberi and his executive committee were able to realise the country's long-time dreams including the implementation of Djibouti's first ever beach soccer tournament and the creation of the National beach soccer team.

The FDF held its General assembly at the technical centre in the capital Djibouti during which at least 19 developmental agendas were approved by 72 delegates representing the FDF stakeholders from across the horn of African nation.

This was the first time to organize a general assembly since 2007, a move that was seen as part of the developmental steps taken by President Souleiman according to some stakeholders who addressed at the General assembly on Sunday.
