Barbra Streisand

A very special performance from Barbra Streisand singing 'The Way We Were' from her film of the same title was one of the musical highlights of the show, with a stellar performance by the legend.

Seth MacFarlane

The Oscars for outstanding film achievements of 2012 were presented on Oscar® Sunday, February 24th, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and were hosted by Seth MacFarlane, who got away with insulting many, perhaps by having William Shatner as Captain Kirk from Star Trek as his self deprecating side kick. MacFarlane's handsome looks certainly didn't hurt his delivery any either. The Oscar presentation was televised live on the ABC Television Network and in more than 225 countries worldwide.

The Winners

Winners for The Oscars this year included Ben Affleck's 'Argo' for best picture, Jennifer Lawrence for best actress (Silver Lining Playbook), Anne Hathaway for best supporting actress (Les Miserables), Daniel Day Lewis (Lincoln), Ang Lee for best director (Life of Pi), Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained), and Quentin Tarantino for best screenplay (Django Unchained), and 'Brave,' for best animated feature among more.
