Missing Boy, 5, Found Under Beanbag Chair

By   get stories by email

"A 5-year-old Welsh boy whose disappearance sparked a massive police search turned out to be napping under a bean bag chair, his parents said.

Andrew Lorey, 29, and Samantha Thomas, 28, of Penlan, Wales, said their son, Jenson Lorey, vanished from the family's living room Monday night while his father was in the kitchen and his mother was at the gym, walesonline.co.uk reported Thursday."

This story is shocking beyond comprehension; I thought beanbag chairs had gone out of style decades ago.

It's also surprising that 12 police officers, a couple of police dogs and a helicopter couldn't locate the missing kid.

These Welch cops make the Keystone Kops look like the FBI, they should be given a reality show.

After more than an hour of searching, the couple's daughter, 6, discovered her brother sleeping beneath the beanbag chair.

I don't think the kid could have slept through all that commotion; he was probably stifling his laughter at the stupidity of the police.
