Brits can be forgiven for their obsession with the Royal Family, they need a distraction from their bland diet, dreary weather and failing economy. The UK isn't blessed with a gaggle of world famous celebs, naturally their tabloids focus like a laser beam on the Royal twits.

Americans have Honey Boo Boo, The Kardashians, Lindsay Lohan and our pop royalty couple Jay-Z and Beyonce - why waste bandwidth or paper reporting on the Royal Family?

Hilary Mantel's assessment of Kate Middleton is spot on! Middleton is a plastic mannequin with no personality, unfortunately she doesn't have a dead womb to match her dead eyes.

The Duchess may have dead eyes, but they speak volumes. Her dead eyes don't see the great unwashed, they come alive only when she's shopping for fur coats or expensive baubles.

A fashion designer hired to work for the future queen may be grateful for the publicity, but it must be a soul-quenching job to design clothes that will be worn by a mannequin.

The Royal Barbie doesn't exude any maternal glow, she doesn't give the impression of being pregnant. It looks like she's constipated, and can't wait to deliver a stool.

Enough already about Kate Middleton, I'd rather read about Lindsay Lohan's skanky shenanigans or Honey Boo Boo's endearing country bumpkin antics.
