Lock Picking Horse a YouTube Hit

"Sandy and Don Bonem, owners of Misty Meadow Farms in Midland, said 9-year-old Friesian horse Mariska has been nicknamed 'Houdini Horse' for her ability to pick any lock they put on the door to her stall."

The mare quickly learned how to unlock almost every door her owners have tried to keep her secured behind. The horse escape artist not only unlocks her own stall doors but those belonging to horses next to her as well.

Houdini's nimble fingers allowed him to escape from almost any lock, but Mariska accomplishes her amazing escapes using only her mouth.

Of course, if Mariska had any brains, she would use her hoofs to break the door down.

Mariska makes Mr. Ed, the famous talking horse, look pathetic. She deserves her own reality show, or at the very least she should replace Nicki Minaj as a judge on American Idol.
