Man Hurls Chair At Cop In Courtroom

By   get stories by email

"An Illinois man who accused a police officer of a racially provoked attack is facing an assault charge for throwing a courtroom chair at the officer.

Joliet City attorney Greg Smith said Lavelle Watts Jr., 32, became enraged Thursday when a jury ruled against Watts in his civil suit against Joliet Officer Joshua Sawyer, whom Watts accused of twisting his arm and slamming him into a car while saying things wouldn't be easier for Watts now that we've got a black president. The alleged indicate was related to call Sawyer responded to in March 2009 regarding a domestic disturbance call at Watts' girlfriend's house, the Chicago Sun-Times reported Friday.

The jury, which included African Americans, deliberated for less than an hour before they decided in favor of the police officer.

The cop spoke the Gospel truth, things aren't any easier for anyone, black or white, since Obama became the President of the United States.

Things may have been nominally better for Watts with Obama in the White House, but he won't be able to use his Obama phone behind bars.

Instead of winning a judgment of $100,000 against the peace officer, the moron is facing a federal assault charge and time in the Big House.

This moron has a lovely feminine-sounding name: Lavelle. He is destined to be everyone's favorite in prison.
