Lady Sues After Losing Thumb While Performing At Strip Club
"A Philadelphia woman who lost her thumb while she was participating in a G-String competition at a strip club has filed a lawsuit seeking more than $50,000 in damages, it was revealed today.
Sarah Berry, 35, claims she was rehearsing for the ninth annual Diamond G-String Competition at Delilahs in July 2011 when a metal bar suspended from the ceiling sliced off her thumb.
She filed the suit in city court on Friday. It accuses Delilah's of failing to ensure the crescent-shaped metal bar suspended from the ceiling was properly designed, built, inspected and tested."Sarah Berry wasn't employed by the strip club; she entered the Diamond G-String Competition at the invitation of a friend.
Berry is seeking $50, 000 for pain and suffering, disfigurement, humiliation and embarrassment. Excuse me but a woman who strips in front of boozy dudes should be well acquainted with humiliation and embarrassment.
As far as losing a thumb, it won't affect her earnings as an exotic dancer, as long as her boobs and butt are intact, dudes could care less if she was missing all her fingers.
Most strip club owners are Mafioso types, if she doesn't drop her lawsuit she may lose a few more fingers before all is said and done.
Berry should stop whining, attend college, and get a real job.
