Gas Station Pulls 'Illegal Aliens' 'Hunting Season' Bumper Stickers
"The company that owns a Colorado gas station said bumper stickers joking about hunting illegal immigrants have been pulled from the stores.
Employees at a Cenex gas station in Eaton, Colo., said they made a mistake in selling a bumper sticker reading, 'Illegal Immigrant Hunting Permit' with other print reading 'No Bag Limit' and 'Tagging not required." -UPIAs you can tell from my surname I'm Hispanic, but I abhor censorship, and I believe that the gas station has the right to sell the patently offensive bumper stickers.
But what's legal is not always moral or ethical, and the gas station absolutely did the right thing in pulling the loathsome bumper stickers.
The term "illegal immigrant" in itself is offensive, there is no such thing as an illegal human being.
A spokesperson for Agfinity, the company that owns the Cenex gas station said the company has no official comment on the stickers. Excuse me? No official statement on such a racist bumper sticker? Not even a wimpy statement like "we believe the bumper stickers in question are politically-incorrect?
