Pesky Punxsutawney Phil Predicts An Early Spring

"An early spring for you and me," is this year's prediction from Punxsutawney Phil, the premiere Groundhog Day forecaster.

With an estimated 35,000 spectators watching him Saturday morning, the groundhog or as he is known to his followers, 'the seer of seers' - - did not see his shadow. - NPR

It's been frigid this winter in Virginia, as I look out my window no light streams in and snow covers the ground.

The meteorologists on TV forecast snow and more snow, but what the hell do they know?

I'd rather hear what the adorable meteorologist, Punxsutawney Phil, has to say. And the cute as a button groundhog predicts an early spring!

I need to go to Lowe's and buy some grass seed, and a new mower. But I think I will wait until the temperature climbs a little bit above freezing.
