Old Lady, 80, Drives Home In Wrong Car

By   get stories by email

"A Swedish octogenarian accidentally drove the wrong car home from the grocery store, officials said.

The woman got into what she thought was her car and, finding the keys in the ignition, simply drove home, police said. It wasn't until the woman's daughter questioned where a bag that had been in the car came from that the mix up was reported."

When a person reaches age 65 his license should be confiscated, and he should only drive a bumper car in a seedy carnival.

The vehicle that the old woman drove home bore no resemblance to her actual car. The elderly lady seems to have no connection with reality. I'm surprised she didn't run over pedestrians at crosswalks, thinking they were freshly fallen snowflakes.

Everybody rails against young drivers, but it's the old birds who drive huge vehicles that look like tanks or boats who scare the BeJesus out of me.

The elderly driver's daughter called the police, and the car was returned to its owner. No charges were filed against the octogenarian.
