Bank Robber To Cops: Tired of Seeing People Younger Than Him Driving Newer Cars
"Police in Florida said a bank robbery suspect (Russell Lester Sanford) told them he committed the crime because he was tired of seeing people younger than him driving newer vehicles.
The suspect allegedly told police he wanted the money from the bank because he was tired of seeing people younger than him driving newer vehicles than his car. He said he had also planned to use the money to pay off his mounting traffic citations."
I don't care what kind of vehicles my neighbors are driving, as long as they don't decide to take my car for a spin.
I have two old junkers, and on most days at least one of them is running, and as long as it takes me there and back, I'm good.
There will always be folks who have nicer cars than I do, but I don't owe anybody a dime, and I don't waste any time worrying about what others think of my possessions.
Lester didn't need a fancy new ride to attract the attention of the police. Oh well, he's only 28, enough time to turn over a new leaf, and to learn about what's really important in life.
