Madonna Screams At Kids To Stop Smoking
"U.S. pop star Madonna told fans who were smoking at her recent concert in Santiago, Chile, to snuff out their cigarettes or she would cancel the show.
TMZ said the offending smokers eventually put out their cigarettes and Madonna went on with her show." - UPI
I have been in love with pop music ever since I was about 12-years-old and my parents asked me if I wanted a bike or a transistor radio for my birthday. I chose the radio and pop music has been the soundtrack of my life ever since. I hope that a bouncy pop hit instead of a funeral dirge will be played at my funeral.
I remember when I heard "Holiday" playing on my car radio, and my sister asked me "who's that?" and I replied, "I don't know, some black chick."
I came to fall in love with Madonna, but through the decades she's let me down with mediocre albums and juvenile publicity stunts, but as one of my first loves, she will always hold a special place in my heart.
Madonna was so young and so hot when she was writhing on stage on MTV singing "Like a Virgin", but the middle-aged Queen of Pop is now lecturing kids to stop smoking.
Entropy destroys all of us, from nerdy writers to pop stars. It would be too depressing to watch Madonna in concert, but I still play her albums.
On the radio Madonna is forever young, and when I hear one of her old hits on the radio I dance like I was a young man again.
