Lindsay Lohan's Probation Revoked

By   get stories by email

"The 26-year-old actress was arraigned in California today on misdemeanor charges for lying to police, driving recklessly, and obstructing an officer from doing his duties after she crashed her Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway in June.

Commissioner Jane Godfrey revoked Lohan's informal probation from her 2011 necklace theft case and set a probation violation hearing for Jan. 15. If Godfrey decides Lohan did violate her probation, she could face 245 days in jail."

Lindsay Lohan is a drug addict and an alcoholic, and she needs a long stay in rehab. Lilo has attended Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, and she's done rehab. But the rehab center she enrolled in is more akin to a health spa and resort than to a serious mental health facility.

Now that the pop tart's probation has been revoked she should immediately be dispatched to jail. The commuting public in LA needs to be protected from Lohan, she's a menace behind the wheel.

It would be to Lohan's benefit if she's locked up for an extended period of time, it will give her an opportunity to clear her system of drugs and alcohol. The troubled starlet might finally be able to overcome her addiction issues if she's away from her enablers and questionable acquaintances.

There is nothing in Lohan's agenda in the foreseeable future anyway, no serious producer is willing to take a risk in hiring the hot mess for a movie. Lohan might as well plead with the judge to send her back to jail.
