Australian Prime Minister Warns of Apocalypse

By   get stories by email

"Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard Thursday weighed into the debate about whether the world will end on December 21 under the Mayan calendar in a spoof video about Korean pop and flesh-eating zombies.

In a one-minute video address recorded for the youth radio station Triple J, a sombre-looking Gillard says the pending apocalypse is at hand despite there being no proof."

All signs point to an impending Apocalypse, the trigger may be the end of the Mayan calendar, a baby black hole unleashed by the Large Hadron Collider, an army of zombies, a mob led by Honey Boo Boo demanding that we redneckognize the powers of darkness, or Psy and Korean pop dominating the Billboard charts.

When 81-year-old former Sen. Alan Simpson does a "Gangnam Style" video, you don't need any other proof that the End of the World is nigh.

If the world does end on December 21, 2012, I wish I could share a bomb shelter or a hot tub with the attractive Australian Prime Minister. As long as I have a case of Twinkies, a stash of weed, and a little Julia Gillard, hey I'm good.

The Australians have Julia Gillard to prepare them for the Apocalypse, we have Obama. We're screwed.
