Santa Gets Stuck By Beard At British Mall

"Officials at a British mall said a Santa was left dangling by his false beard when it became stuck while he was rappelling down for his big entrance.

The Broad Street Mall in Reading, England, said the Santa Claus was rappelling into the mall to entertain the children during Saturday afternoon's lights switch-on ceremony when his false beard became caught and he was left dangling 15 feet off the ground for about 30 minutes."

I searched YouTube to see if I could find a video of this incident, and I was amazed to discover that there have been several incidents over the last few years of rappelling Santas getting stuck. Santa should stop trying to be cool, and leave rappelling for daredevils.

I bet the kids were crying the entire time Santa was left dangling 15 feet from the ground. The greedy little brats were afraid that Santa might fall down, break his neck, and be unable to deliver their gifts.

Rescuers were able to cut Santa's beard out of the rope, and he made it safely down amidst cheers from the children.
