Madame Tussauds to Unveil Stephen Colbert Wax Figure

"Madame Tussauds Washington says it has created a wax likeness of television personality and political satirist Stephen Colbert.

Madame Tussauds D.C. said it is renovating its Media Room and creating a replica set of The Colbert Report where guests will be able to interact and take photos behind the desk, seated next to the figure."

I do not understand the fascination that the elite have with Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart. These two gentlemen, supposedly comics, have programs in a 3rd rate cable network, and if there were a God in heaven they wouldn't make any impact on the pop culture scene.

Common folks wouldn't know Colbert or Stewart from a piece of dog turd on the street. It's brainless politicians and entertainers who have elevated these morons into superstars. Not once has a family member, neighbor, stranger or work colleague asked me: Did you watch Colbert last night?

I'm a liberal, and I could care less if these jerks share my political ideology, they simply aren't funny. They are annoying, irritating, egotistical, simplistic and anything but funny.

Colbert's entire shtick is parodying Bill O'Reilly, that might work as a one-time skit on "Saturday Night Life", but it gets boring real quick as a daily talk show.

Madame Tussauds museum has lost whatever credibility it once enjoyed.
