Dude Takes Pregnancy Test As A Joke, Discovers He Has Testicular Cancer

By   get stories by email

"A man, whose name has not been made public, was shocked to see two pink lines after jokingly taking the test, which had been left in his bathroom cabinet by an ex-girlfriend.

Pregnancy tests detect beta human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone in the blood and the urine produced by the developing placenta. Experts say beta hCG can also signal testicular cancer."

The man's interesting incident was posted on the Web site Reddit, concerned readers warned him that when a male tests positive for a pregnancy test it may be a sign of testicular cancer.

This dude has way too much free time; he needs to find a hobby. I've done some crazy things when I was bored out of my mind, but I've never taken a pregnancy test.

The unnamed gentleman went to his doctor, and a small lump was discovered in his right testicle. The physician should have had a little bit of fun with him, and told him:

"Congratulations, you are going to have a bouncing baby boy, but we will have to enlarge your rectum so that the baby can come out."

The tumor was caught early, but the hapless man might have to have his testicle surgically removed.

Good News: The dude wasn't pregnant

Bad News: Homeboy may lose one of his balls, and who knows if he will ever have a baby.

I don't recommend that men take a pregnancy test to determine if they have testicular cancer, but Dr. Reyes recommends that you check out your family jewels when you are taking a shower, make sure there are no unusual bumps.
