Conservative Leader Tells Obama: You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet!

By

The Chairman of The Conservative Caucus, Peter Thomas, in a post-election statement, said conservatives across the country will unite like never before to block what they expect to be a radical second-term agenda from President Obama.

The Conservative Caucus actively opposed the passage of ObamaCare. It is a grass roots public policy action organization that was first formed in 1974. The organization already carried out a number of successful blocking campaigns, during its lifetime. Thomas says those campaigns include the SALT II Treaty, the Catastrophic Coverage Act, and the Clinton health-care takeover. The organization also pushed the U.S. House of Representatives to impeach President Clinton.

In his statement, Thomas said "The president's policies in his first term resulted in an explosion of debt and unemployment, which crippled the American Dream. Now unleashed from accountability to the voters, President Obama has little restraint on using regulations, executive orders, vetos and legislative battles to advance hard-left policies."

"Voters may rapidly regret reelecting President Obama if he carries out his threats to offer Russia more 'flexibility' on disarmament, skyrockets electric rates, or if he signs a phony deal with Iran to lift sanctions."

Addressing President Obama directly, he said "Mr. President, if you thought the Tea Party was powerful, you ain't seen nothing yet!"

The Conservative Caucus says it will work to unite conservatives to help block, defund and stall every left-wing bill and regulation supported by the President.

Since the election, some media talking heads and anchors have talked about the Obama win. Some even labeled it "a mandate," but such redefinition of the word ignores both the situation and the deep ideological divide between conservatives and the President.

Peter Thomas says Conservatives will not compromise on liberty, nor will they make deals that result in advancing left-wing issues.
