Mexican Crime Wave Spills Over to US

When are we going to acknowledge that Mexican drug cartels are a serious threat to our own security?

They may not have suicide bombers and shout religious phrases, but they are dangerous. They are more brutal than the Italian Mafia and the Russian Mafia. These people have murdered 47, 000 people in Mexico since 2006.

Some of these were rival gang members but thousands weren't. Mexico is next door to this country. Two dead border guards is only the beginning.

This crime wave will spill over into this country sooner than some people think.

When are we going to wake up and acknowledge the problem?
