Are We Witnessing a 9/12, 2012 Blood Libel?
Who is attempting blame Jews and Israel for the riots that erupted in the Muslim world because of a film, allegedly directed by Samuel (Sam) Bacile, allegedly an Israeli-American?
Amongst the Israeli and Jewish communities in Los Angeles, the Israeli cinema folks in Hollywood circles and right-wing Jewish organizations in California, no one knows or has even heard of the person calling himself Samuel (Sam) Bacile. Bacile is apparently an Israeli - American, who wrote and directed the film with many titles.
The various titles of this terribly acted and terribly made film include: "Islam, the untold story," or, Sam Bacile's "The Muhammad Movie" or, 'Innocence of Muslims' Trailer [HD] - Egypt Protest Film or
Innocence of Muslims Trailer "Egypt Protest Movie"
Who is trying to make the world believe that this film, allegedly defaming Mohammed, that caused Arab mobs to take the streets in the Arab world, storming the U.S. missions, is an Israeli-American initiative by Samuel (Sam) Bacile?
Bacile is alleged to be 56 years old, a real estate developer who lives in Southern California. He allegedly wrote and directed the film, which was made secretly for three months in 2011, with a budget of $5 million. It is said there was a crew of 60 actors and 45 staff in its budget, who were allegedly recruited from some 100 Jews and Israeli-Americans.
Israeli officials in Washington confirmed to IsraeliLifeUSA that there is no such name as Samuel (or Sam) Bacile, listed in any Israeli consulate in the U.S.
With many Israelis living in California, we can already determine, with certainty, by our polling, of the Israeli and Jewish communities in Los Angeles, among the circles of the Israeli cinema in Hollywood and right organizations, no one has even heard of this man.
There is a rumor that behind the film is an extreme right wing Christian group from Orange County, southern California.
The film was screened, only once, in the U.S. in a hall in Hollywood, to a small number of viewers. Distribution companies and U.S. cinemas refused to screen it to the public.
Ori Dinor, IsraeliLifeUSA reporter, who watched scenes from the movie, did not recognize even a single Israeli player appearing in the movie.
An Israeli producer in Hollywood, who also watched the movie clips, displayed in YouTube, told IsraeliLifeUSA that he does not believe the film was produced with a $5 million budget. He said that most of the movie took place in front of a green screen background the actors stand in front of. He summed up by saying the acting is amateur and the script is poor. He also says the film has a number of scenes, that in his opinion were filmed, in all likelihood, in an Arab country.
To catch up with the news, in the last 24 hours, an Arab-Moslem mob orchestrated violent protests in Egypt and Libya and Christopher Stevens, the American Consul in Benghazi died, apparently by smoke inhalation, while the consulate building was on fire. Some other consulate staff died as well. The protesters' claim is that the movie offends Mohammad and distorts Islam, as the movie portrays Mohammad to be a corrupt woman chaser, who supported sexual abuse of children.
Sam Bacile - or whoever appears in his image - was quoted in the media as one who wants to convey a political message that Islam is a cancer.
The Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles, David Siegel made this statement:
I am deeply saddened by the brutal murders of Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Benghazi, Libya. Ambassador Stevens lived a life of absolute commitment to the ideals of democracy and freedom. He will always be remembered as a heroic champion who paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of those precious values. The people of Israel share in the grief felt by all Americans today and we send our deepest condolences and prayers to the families of the victims. The State of Israel stands shoulder to shoulder with the United States and the struggle against terrorism.
