Oreo Ad Depicting Breastfeeding Baby Holding Oreo Causing Sensation
"Kraft Foods is attempting to clean up the mess made by the accidental release of a controversial Oreo advertisement that features a breastfeeding baby.
The ad shows a baby feeding from an uncensored breast and holding an Oreo cookie in its hand.
'Milk's favorite cookie,' it reads at the bottom." St Louis CBS Local
A spokesperson for Kraft Foods said that the ad was never meant to be released, he explained that it was created for a one-time use at an advertising awards program.
Kraft is being disingenuous, I don't think they would spend thousands on an ad to be used only once, and intended to be seen by only a select few.
Kraft never meant for such a controversial ad to be released to a nationwide audience, but I'm sure the company is thrilled that the ad was mysteriously released on the Internet.
I find the ad humorous and pleasing to the eye, it's a shame it wasn't released to a national audience. The ad nails home the point that Oreo cookies and milk go great together; it should receive the blessings of the Milk Advisory Board, Kraft Foods, and gentlemen of discerning taste who appreciate the beauty of the female body.
