The 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade unit ministry team organized Run for Jesus Easter 5-Mile Race.

The Easter Sunday race in conjuntion with a sunrise service to help deployed servicemembers celebrate the religious holiday.

The 82nd CAB unit ministry team combined the run with a sunrise service to help deployed servicemembers on Bagram celebrate the religious holiday.

PARWAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan - 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade Chaplain (Maj.) Stanton Trotter, of LaPalma, Calif., presides over Easter sunrise service on Bagram Airfield, just prior to the "Run for Jesus." Trotter, an avid runner, organized the five-mile race, which attracted more than 600 runners across Bagram.

PARWAN PROVINCE, Afghanistan -- A group of U.S. Army Soldiers complete the five-mile "Run for Jesus" carrying a huge wooden cross Easter morning on Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. The "Run for Jesus" was the brainchild of Chaplain (Maj.) Stanton Trotter, the 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade Chaplain, who is an avid runner.
