Man Gives His Girlfriend His Kidney for Valentine's Day
By Robert Paul Reyes
"A Chicago man is celebrating Valentine's Day by giving his girlfriend one of the most precious gifts he has -- his kidney.
Terry Lee said his girlfriend, Trisha Beckwith, was diagnosed with the autoimmune disease Lupus after they had been dating for about four months and soon discovered her kidneys were not functioning." UPI
I shudder when I hear that a friend has tattooed the name of his sweetheart on his arm, very few relationships last "till death do us part."
Donating your kidney to your girlfriend is a million times crazier than tattooing her name on your butt. I can understand a husband donating his kidney to his wife, because they have at least made a vow to remain together for the rest of their lives.
Instead of donating a kidney to his girlfriend, Terry should have given her a giant Hershey's Kiss, and told her that she was in his prayers.
Next Valentine's Day Trisha will still be walking around with Terry's kidney, but will he still be in her heart?
