SAN ANTONIO, Feb. 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- ProScribe, LLC, one of the nation's leading providers of medical scribe services, announced the hiring of Suzy Wier Thorby, as Senior VP of Corporate Development.

Suzy is an emergency department nurse that started T-System with the two physician founders in 1996. She was responsible for sales, support, implementation and training. Under her leadership, the T-System grew to over 2300 customers all over the world.

Suzy is a recognized thought leader in medical documentation, electronic medical records (EMR) implementation and practice efficiency. She will be responsible for leading ProScribe's corporate growth strategy and developing new opportunities for the organization.

"I am thrilled to be part of the ProScribe team. I have always believed passionately that the creation of a comprehensive clinical record that is compliant, reimbursable, and provides clear and meaningful information should in no way divert the physician from the core mission of delivering the best possible patient care," observed Thorby. "Unfortunately far too many of today's documentation solutions demand just such a trade-off. This is where a scribe program comes in. By pairing physicians with highly trained scribes ProScribe helps restore overall efficiency without requiring a sacrifice in either the quality of care or the quality of the clinical record. It's a win for the patients and for the care team."

"Obviously, we are excited to add Suzy to our team. Her expertise, experience and innovative style is a perfect fit for our rapidly growing scribe business," commented Toby Mulligan, CEO. "We view her appointment as a sign of our commitment to being the leading provider of medical scribe services in our industry. The increasing demand from our customers led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our ethos of innovation and exceptional service. ProScribe is fortunate to find someone of Suzy's caliber to fulfill this position. I'm confident that Suzy will play a key role in providing and implementing high quality solutions for our clients."
