Leading IT Security Solutions Provider Stakes North American Market With Identity Management, Mobile Application Security Offerings

KOBIL Systems GmbH, a market leader and trendsetter for highly convenient and powerful IT security solutions with a focus in the area of secure digital identities, today announced that the company has expanded its global operations to North America by establishing fully owned subsidiary, KOBIL Technologies, Inc. in the United States with presence in San Francisco Bay area.

Mr. Koyun founded the company in 1986 from his dorm room at University of Applied Sciences, Worms, Germany, when he was studying computer science, and he constantly innovated with inventions such as the world's first redundant power supplies for PCs and Servers, double local bus, wireless card reader, the world's first Class 3 smartcard reader which did not require any software installation, the world's first Class 4 smartcard reader featuring a keypad, and KOBIL's flagship product, mIDentity, which was used by Bill Gates in 2005 as an example of the future of identity solutions, at his speech about Internet Security in Munich.
