MarketLive, Inc., the leader in eCommerce software and solutions, today announced that V.I.M., an East Coast urban retailer of jeans, sneakers, apparel, and accessories, has selected MarketLive to help the company launch and power its first online retail site. V.I.M. is owned by Famous Horse Inc. and has 32 stores throughout the East Coast.

The V.I.M.'s eCommerce site is expected to launch in spring 2012 and will run on the MarketLive Intelligent Commerce platform, ensuring superior performance, reliability and flexibility. V.I.M. chose MarketLive because it met the company's criteria for a comprehensive and technologically advanced platform as well as its strong track record for providing support in every aspect of eCommerce, from technology and merchandising to customer care.

"It's a long-term marriage when you select an eCommerce platform," said Corey Schuchman, director of eCommerce for V.I.M. Stores. "The challenge was finding an all-in-one solution that included among other things, design, customer care, order management and tech resources, but was also quick to market. It wasn't an option for us to plug in 20 different pieces to get our solution. After a long evaluation process, we felt most comfortable with MarketLive's team and technology."

"We welcome V.I.M. to the MarketLive family of online merchants that benefit from our partnership approach as well as our advanced software platform and technology services," said Mark Pierce, CEO of MarketLive. "We are thrilled to be partnering with this established East Coast brand as they take the exciting first step into the world of eCommerce and look forward to seeing V.I.M.'s continued growth and success."
