AOTMP Announces Industry Excellence Award Winners

AOTMP announced the Industry Excellence Award winners during a ceremony held in conjunction with the AOTMP 2012 Conference on February 14, 2012, in Orlando, Florida. The award winners were recognized for outstanding performance in fixed and mobile telecom environment management.

An AOTMP panel of judges determined the winners in four categories. Decisions were based on the overall impact the award winners made to their telecom environment.

Nationwide Mutual Insurance was awarded Mobility Management Project of the Year for achieving exceptional results with its wireless mobility project. Mobility Management Project of the Year finalists included CH2M Hill and Ford Motor Company.

David Shuman and Jodi Webb from the United States Postal Service were jointly awarded the TEM/WMM Professional of the Year for demonstrating outstanding performance in managing their enterprise telecom environment. TEM/WMM Professional of the Year finalists included Dave Ernst from Clorox and Sue Weber from JPMorgan Chase & Co.

24 Hour Fitness was awarded the Environment Optimization Excellence Award for achieving fixed and mobile telecom environment optimization excellence. Finalists included ServiceMaster and Wells Fargo.

Orange County Public Schools was awarded the Visionary Award for achieving efficiency, performance and the adoption of the ultimate fixed and mobile telecom environment vision. Finalists include Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Equity Office Properties.
