AURORA, Colo., Feb. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Sen. Bryon Dorgan and Robert L. Johnson, CIO, Sprint, will join a roster of energy business leaders, government leaders and innovators at the fourth annual EnergyBiz Leadership Forum (www.energybizforum.com) March 19-21, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

Dorgan is a leader in the effort to forge a bipartisan national energy policy, heading up a significant effort at the Bipartisan Policy Center. The former senator, who retired from the Senate last year, recently served as chairman of the Senate energy subcommittee.

Johnson will discuss innovative efforts at Sprint to enhance customers' experiences and service and share insights from the telecommunications industry uniquely applicable to energy companies.

"This year's forum, titled 'Harnessing Disruption: Navigating Risk and Opportunities,' fosters communication among leaders of the $372 billion-plus energy industry, along with government officials and media representatives," says Energy Central CEO Steve Drazga.

The conference convenes at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, where executives have numerous opportunities to learn how industry leaders are dealing with disruption in their organizations; discover who will control the gateway to the customer in the future; understand threats and opportunities facing the industry; and learn best practices for supporting customers. The agenda includes panel sessions featuring top utility CROs, CFOs and CIOs plus the popular "Utility CEO's Speak Out--Dealing with Disruption."

Farrell, II, chairman, president and CEO, Dominion; John W. Rowe, chairman and CEO, Exelon Corp.; Robert S. Shapard, CEO, Oncor; Susan N. Story, president and CEO, Southern Company Services.
