Education Finance, Loan, Regulatory Outlook Focus of iiBIG Summit

iiBIG's 2012 Education Loan & Financing Executive Summit, scheduled for May 9-10, 2012 in Washington D.C., occurs at a crucial time. The punitive regulatory environment that existed just a year ago has now taken a more favorable turn in the education finance and student loan industry. According to participants at iiBIG's December 2011 New York meeting, "the private student loan business is here to stay." Therefore, iiBIG is pleased to bring back this event to Washington, D.C. Education finance professionals -- in both the private and the public sector -- along with other key valued industry participants in the education finance and student loan markets will gather to discuss the latest issues and to lay the groundwork for the road ahead in 2012 and beyond.

  • If you are a student loan investor, a student loan lender, a student loan servicer, a not-for-profit issuer or other student loan industry professional, this educational finance event will cover the areas of student loan funding, refinancing, origination and credit that directly affect your business. With the end of FFELP and reductions in state government support of higher education, we are moving toward a single payer system for higher education.

  • With over 40 speakers and a two-day panel-driven agenda, this will be the premier education loan and financing event of 2012.

  • Hear predictions and insights from insiders on what to expect from policy-makers as they respond to on-going educational loan challenges.

  • Take advantage of the conference location in Washington D.C. to call on new Congressional representatives and staff to make sure your views and concerns remain at the top of the agenda.
