Storage.com Announces the Release of Its New Storage Unit Size Calculator

Storage.com has released a storage calculator that will help prospective tenants calculate the unit size needed to store one's belongings. Similar to its online tool that is available on Storage.com, this downloadable desktop Windows application calculates self-storage space needs for both office and residential customers.

It works by telling the calculator the number of rooms that you need to store. The application calculates the appropriate storage room size as well as gives guidance on what items (such as desks, beds and dressers) may fit into the space. This application also provides answers to frequently asked questions about self storage and allows one to link directly to Storage.com to find a nearby storage facility.

"Our goal is to provide our customers with the optimum user experience. This calculator will save our customers time by allowing them to reserve a unit online and feel confident that it is the correct size for the items they want to place in storage," said Kenneth McCall, a Storage.com spokesperson.

This calculator can be found at www.storage.com/download/storagecalculator.zip and can be downloaded to any Windows operating computer.
