Homes For Our Troops Had More Than 300 Volunteers
Dear Editor,
Regarding the news relating to Homes For Our Troops,
I don't know if you actually had someone there at the site but: The site of Homes For Our Troops Build Brigade in West Point for Army SPC Isaac Jensen was actually a 3 day weekend.
Started Fri the 10th of Feb. 2012 and ended Sun. the 12th of Feb. 2012.
As a volunteer assisting with Registration, I can share we had more than 300 volunteers. Civilian as well as numerous Squadron Troops who helped with the construction, registration, donations, serving breakfast's all three days, snacks & and lunches also the HAFB Med group as well as drinks for three days.
Sales of HFOT Products to raise funds for an Organization that uses less than 10 percent of all money raised for Overhead. Even stuck around to help clean up.
I Hope to see more on this info shared with the Military families and communities both local as well as across the US.
Signed,
A Volunteer Who Cares
