Women of Faith® Launches New 'One Day' Events

Kicking off the first of 16 Women of Faith® One Day events, this tour offers a new focus in a more intimate setting. Carol Nygren, executive vice president and managing director of Live Event Management, Inc., the producers of Women of Faith® stated, "Today, women find themselves increasingly stretched for time, making it difficult to see the work God is doing in their lives. We want this completely new experience to allow our guests the ability to leave their troubles at the door, for just one day."

Feedback following last year's events revealed that guests wanted the ability to connect to the speakers on a closer level. Increased Biblical application, a more detailed look at the speaker's personal Christian walk and more humor were among the most requested. As a result, Women of Faith® One Day speakers such as Angie Smith, best-selling author Sheila Walsh and Women of Faith® newcomer Christine Caine bring never-been-told stories to the stage. These women will be joined with new musical artists including "American Idol" finalist Scott MacIntyre and always loved comic-with-a-message guests Andy Andrews and Ken Davis.

"We want women to realize that their struggles are our struggles," continues Nygren. "Our guests come to Women of Faith® to experience grace, hope and encouragement. At our events we not only want to deliver God's Word, but we want these women to experience God's love.
