The London Heathrow Marriott's Italian Restaurant Is Awarded AA Rosette for Culinary Experience

The London Heathrow Marriott has been celebrating the recent AA Rosette awarded to its Tuscany Ristorante for culinary excellence.

Specialising in Northern Italian provincial cuisine, this restaurant near Heathrow Airport has been open as long as the Marriott Heathrow itself, 13 years, and is a firm favourite with hotel guests. The single objective of the restaurant is quite simple; create flavoursome, hearty dishes using fresh produce from sustainable sources. All the ingredients are locally sourced and seasonally fresh.

The AA inspector judged the Italian restaurant near Heathrow Airport on the quality of the food, the flavours and textures and whether or not it was in keeping with the concept of the restaurant. Consistency in the product and presentation were also a deciding factor.

Executive Chef Joe Beaver believes that another aspect to receiving the award was the restaurant went back to basics, keeping true to the flavours of the produce, serving uncomplicated food, cooked with care. Chef Beaver said, "It feels wonderful to get the rosette back. It's a great accolade to the way the restaurant's been progressing over the last couple of years and all the hard work, dedication and love everyone has put in to achieving it."

One of the added thrills in the Heathrow London hotel's restaurant is the live theatre kitchen, where the chefs cook in front of the guests, encouraging the diners to get to know the chefs and see them preparing the great food that they've chosen from the menu.
