Leading Application Performance Management (APM) Innovator Gains International Momentum, Forms Channel Partnerships in EMEA

LONDON, UK - 9 February 2012 - ExtraHop Networks, recently named an "APM Innovator" by Gartner Research, announces its entry into the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) market. Building on an extensive customer base in the USA including Adobe, Concur, Microsoft and other industry leaders, ExtraHop continues to win EMEA customers and is executing a ground-breaking channel partner programme in the EMEA region to further accelerate growth.

ExtraHop Networks offers network-based application performance management (APM) solutions that help IT teams fix problems rapidly as well as optimize the performance of IT infrastructure. Specifically the ExtraHop system provides powerful proactive early warning, triaging and troubleshooting combined with mapping and measuring capabilities that surpass those of traditional APM products, which are largely based on legacy monitoring technology.

"Our breakthrough network-based approach to APM directly addresses incredibly painful problems for customers that are nearly impossible to solve using traditional monitoring tools," said Owen Cole, Vice President of EMEA Sales at ExtraHop Networks. "Our prospective customers in the EMEA will appreciate this new and innovative approach to solving a difficult problem-ensuring that business-critical transactions do not fail."

ExtraHop Networks plans to grow rapidly in EMEA through their ground-breaking channel partner programme. The ExtraHop system enables partners to deliver significant value to their customers almost immediately as it deploys in just 15 minutes and discovers and classifies devices on the network automatically, without any manual configuration. ExtraHop is implementing a 100% channel, two-tier model for distribution in the EMEA region, having previously signed a partner agreement with COMPUTERLINKS.

David Ellis, Director of New Technologies and Services at COMPUTERLINKS, commented, "During our due diligence on ExtraHop we spoke to many happy customers that have reduced their mean time to resolution by 70% and more. Specifically, we were impressed by the ease of installation and almost non-existent management requirements for the system. This is in stark contrast to many other APM products that require massive efforts to configure and maintain. Our partners can solve significant challenges for their customers in a short amount of time-especially for those customers moving to virtual and cloud-based environments. Resolving application problems can be more difficult in the cloud but the ExtraHop system solves this problem."

"We are excited to bring this solution to EMEA exclusively through the best partners in each local market," said Cole. "To this end, we have established a special ExtraHop Rewards Programme that engages every role within the channel-including inside and pre-sales staff-with a point system aimed at creating opportunities that benefit all parties involved. We encourage local partners to contact us now to learn more about our programme details."

Peter Ledger, Sales Director of Quadrant Networks, commented, "We are really pleased with the ExtraHop Rewards Programme and commitment that ExtraHop has made to working exclusively through partners in the EMEA region. With disruptive technology and a channel-friendly approach, I expect tremendous momentum for our ExtraHop business."
