KC Women Enjoy a Special Day for a Good Cause

Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the U.S. It takes the life of one woman per minute. This disease is misunderstood and often unnoticed. More women die of heart disease than all forms of cancer combined. Realizing the importance of this issue, M&I has been a major supporter of Kansas City's "Go Red" efforts for the past several years.

The chairwoman of this year's Go Red campaign, M&I Wealth Management's Kelli Glynn, had this to say about the day's activities, "Women are always taking care of others. Friday's events were designed to help them feel good about themselves, and more importantly, educate them about their own heart health."

We're told that those who missed out on the special attention provided just for the ladies at the M&I locations were red with envy.
